Karen Pearson

Karen is a Policy Associate at the University of Southern Maine Catherine Cutler Institute, with over 20 years with the Maine Rural Health Research Center. She has extensive experience in qualitative methods and expertise in bibliographic management. Her research interests include behavioral health and substance use issues in rural areas, the role of emergency medical services in the rural healthcare delivery system (with an emphasis on community paramedicine), patient safety, and population health.
