Ms. Hansen comes to CORA with over 20 years in Biological Sciences Industry and Education experience. Cheryl held project coordinator and head of department positions while establishing several specialized curricula and outreach programs. Collaborating with principal investigators at institutions such as Uniformed Services University, University of Maryland, and NIH, Cheryl initiated and promoted science research programs and internships for the advancement of girls in STEM. Prior to teaching, she worked in the field of Genomics and Molecular Biology, optimizing procedures for the sequencing and analysis of whole species genomes. She completed her Bachelor of Science at SUNY Brockport and her Master of Science at Johns Hopkins University.
